Hi, I’m Julie! I'd love to  help you achieve a calmer way of living.

I'm passionate about helping women discover a less stressed, more balanced way of living. 

I work with highly capable women who:

  • are often balancing work, family, and sometimes caring for elderly parents;
  • are navigating retirement and feel lost without their career;
  • have reached burnout and been signed off work.

These women all have one thing in common: they struggle to make time for themselves. This can be a combination of time, guilt, priority or a sense of identifying with being busy. 

I believe mindfulness can help them change the narrative.

MY STORY

 I never really considered stress a problem, because it drove me and helped me to achieve.  But every so often, I hit a tipping point where the responsibilities I'd taken on, became too much.  That led to resentment and finally exhaustion.

Mindfulness changed everything.  I learned how our minds and bodies respond to stress and constant thoughts - and for the first time,  I realised I wasn't broken.

This was a light bulb moment!

I wanted to share these simple techniques and insights with other women.  Helping them to understand and navigate their challenging minds to reclaim calm, clarity and confidence.  

 THE PERSONAL STUFF

Sorry, I jumped straight in there.  I'm Julie and I live on the Wirral, a gorgeous place on the North West of the UK.  I'm married to Mike and we have a cat called George. 

I started meditating in 2017 for 10 minutes per day and didn't have a clue what I was doing.  Within a few days, I began to notice that I was constantly picking up other people's problems and was weighed down by an emotional responsibility.  I was intrigued and signed up for an 8 week mindfulness course.  When I began to discover how the mind and body work, particularly the neural pathways and the stress process, I wanted to share this knowledge with as many people as possible.

I do this through teaching, creating online courses and retreat days.
